Mostly gets the job done right

This is my 5 th anniversary with this washer. For the most part it does the job well. However, I have had to rewash (or send to the dry cleaners) items that end up as filters against the drum and therefore come out with lots of debris embedded. I know this would not happen in a front load machine but that style doesn™€™t work for me.

Always off balance the quick 39 minute cycle takes 90 minutes. I despise this washer and am replacing it with a GE model my friend has which is fast and efficient. Poor engineering and service

I bought this as kitchen aid supposedly top of the line. The first one had defective materials in the fittings that hold the heating element dissolved and there is a recall/service announcement and bulletin for defective materials. This caused a lot of damage to the ceiling in the level below. After over 6 months waiting for the back ordered part, whirlpool replaced the dishwasher. Now 9 months in on the replacement the wash motor stopped working in August. The service tech at appliance specialists replaced the unit in October. It didn™€™t fix the problem. After 4x calls to whirlpool with assurances of a reply. No word yet. November 20 now. Lots of paper products used.

I hate this washer. I have kicked this washer. I have run friends off buying this washer. Friends don't let friends buy Cabrios. It leaves dry places on the clothes! It doesn't want to wash bulky items. And, yes, I am loading it properly. It has been through several motherboards. The last repairman said to curb it if it gives me another problem. He said it was an awful washer and not worth trying to fix. It can join the trash stream with all the other crappy appliances. Personally, I am sick of poorly made appliances. I am sick of buying machines over again in extended warranties. I am tired of being scammed. I am tired of being told how I will be happy with my miniscule energy savings that won't even buy me a cheap pizza per year, while I am shelling out hundreds of dollars in extended warranties and replacement costs. I am tired of pulling up manufacturers' websites and seeing posturing and virtue signaling about how diverse, inclusive, and environmental they are. Know how to get us all holding hands as one big happy family that all agree on something? Build a quality product. Everyone can get behind that. As a consumer, we, all of us, are tired of being left holding the bag. The costs to us are way too high. And, btw, we were an all Whirlpool family for decades. Done.

I upgraded to this model when I built my home through my builder. I had 6 visits by a technician and two mother board replacements in the first year. It does an ok job but many times ends up off balance even though clothes start off evenly balanced. I personally would not buy this again- I truly wish we could go back to washers that actually cleaned clothes and did not take an hour or more to run.

I will never purchase a whirlpool product again - The customer service has been a nightmare and I have a washer which a cannot use due the the part on back order for 6 months . The customer service team wont even try to assist - My washer was purchased on the 8 May 2017 from Best Buy and is not even 5 years old and I'm told the motherboard is the problem. I spend almost $650. This should not be the case and to top it of it cannot get repaired and Whirlpool couldn't be bothered to assist .Trying to get someone to answer the phone is another major problem and when they do they transfer you to 4/5 people before you get to speak to anyone . WoW this is very disappointing.

This model of Whirlpool has been nothing but trouble for us, and it is obvious from multitude of reviews of other people with exact same issues, that this washing machine should be recalled. There is something wrong with the motherboard; our cycle stops midway, we now have water leaking out under the machine, our clothes are not getting cleaned at all and I™€™m having to go to the laundromat. We owned Kenmores for years that ran forever. I won™€™t buy Whirlpool again, because I can™€™t trust a company that would not recall a bad product. We have had so many issues with this washer.

I bought this washer on July 2018. It worked ok for the first 2-3 months and then i had trouble with its timing. For a quick wash of 5 towels it shows 48 min first. Then after 10 minutes it shows 65 min, then after more 15 minutes it shows again 68 min. We will be lucky if the quick cycle to be done in 2-3 hrs. Its match gas dryer had belt issue last month. I brought a technician to replace the belt and take a look at the washer and he told me to threw away this washer. it seems it has a major programming/controller problem and the factory is aware of that and I wonder why does not recall the product. I will never buy any other product of this company

Worst Washer, Worst Company

I bought this washer 2 years ago. It was amazing until a 14 months into owning it. It sounded like an airplane taking off in my laundry room. Eventually the machine would stop mid cycle. I paid a local appliance guy to come take a look and was told I should just replace with a different brand and scrap this one. The shocks needed complete replacement, the motherboard needed replacement, and the drive motor was inoperable. I called Whirpool and they offered a one time "good faith" repair. All the parts were on back order. ALL of them. I spend 1.5 months doing laundry at a laundromat waiting on Whirpool's service company. 1.5 months later, the washer worked great! As long as you ran it empty. Within one week of it being repaired the unit started sounding like it was a plane taking off again. I do laundry once every 7-10 days as I am a one person household. I called Whirpool and since I did not pay for the extended warranty there is nothing they can do. I should have known from the start, if a company will not stand behind their product for more than one year, you should stay away from them. The washer itself has now leaked all over my laundry room after one of the hoses in the unit broke and it is completely inoperable. Stay away from Whirlpool and their washing machines!

I bought this back in 2017, and it™€™s been terribly inconsistent without seeing it gets my clothes. Recently it™€™s been stopping the cycle short on certain loads of laundry and just letting all the clothes sit in a pool of water. I need to go down, run a spin cycle and then unplug the machine so it won™€™t fill back up. I would absolutely never recommend this washer. It™€™s matching dryer is mostly fine (though cycles do take longer than they say, every single time)

Our 20 year old Kenmore set finally needed replacing 5 years ago. After researching, we decided on the Whirlpool Cabrio set. I™€™ve already spent $300 fixing the drier and was told that to fix the washer, it would cost around $700 since the bearings inside the spinner are going bad. I™€™m so upset with this after having our previous set for 20 years. This is ridiculous and we won™€™t be buying Whirlpool again.

DO NOT PURCHASE Whirlpool Model #WTW7000DW3

Disappointed Customer 2/10/2021

I purchased this model Whirlpool Model Number WTW7000DW3 less than six (6) months ago and I've had nothing but problems. My previous Whirlpool washer lasted more than 16 years without a single problem. I am SO disappointed, I tried to get Whirlpool to take this model back and allow me to purchase a different model, but they said their policy won't allow trade-in for dissatisfied customers or unreliable products since it's still under warranty.

stripped transmission shaft/agitator plate

After 3 years. Washer makes grinding noise. transmission shaft worn and agitator plate stripped. I replaced the agitator plate 5 months ago. Plate failed again. If I buy the parts to replace to replace, the cost will be over 3 hundred. I am disappointed in this washer.

I bought this unit 5 years ago. I realize things dont last like they used to, but replaced the circulating pump last summer ($100) and am now working on replacing the door latch which no longer seems to work (another $150). Extremely disappointed in the unit. Dont waste your time if your looking for something reliable. I would stay away from all their products as poor quality is most likely not limited to just washing machines

Had to replace broken 4 year old machine

That's right, 4 year old Maytag suffered a major failure. Settled on this one because price, not cheap, was more reasonable than others. Works OK, considering you can't adjust time, temp, water levels, etc. Takes a long time for a complete cycle. Reasonably quiet. I do miss the glass top. Hope it lasts longer than the last one.

Love my new washer!

I bought this washer a little over a month ago and I love it! It's quiet, easy to use and has a huge basin! I have a family of 6 so size was a huge factor. I am able to was my whole bed set in one cycle. Clothes come out fresh and clean every time!

WORST WASHER EVER

This washer only lasted 2 yrs , started having problems with rinsing cycles and never cleaned right. What Upset me is that Whirlpool only backs its washer with a 1 yr warranty. Will be going back with a Samsung THOSE LAST AT LEAST 10 YR
