Extremely disgruntled 9/5/2018

I have had my machine 2 years and it has never worked well. Many times the clothes are not even completely wet when they come out. Water doesn't go in except by a trickle even though there's much pressure going into the machine from the lines. Now the machine has started going through the cycle until it rinses and drains then it goes back to the wash cycle light and will not spin. With every load I have to go back and put the setting on drain/spin, then it will spin. Very inconvenient! Whirlpool tells me to call the serviceman after only 2 years! I tried Whirlpool because I wanted American made, but I will be going back to GE now.

Don't buy this Washer! 7/30/2018

Water level doesn't even cover one load of sheets on the "sheets" cycle! If water doesn't fill in time, the cycle times out and then the cycle stops and you have to restart this stupid machine. Takes a good hour to wash a load of clothes.

This washer was a tremendous upgrade from our previous washer, a Maytag wringer washing machine. The new Whirlpool washer connects directly to the house plumbing, no more filling with a hose and draining off the edge of the porch. I should have bought her a washing machine that we could use in the house when the current washing machine got old, in 1959.

I would check out other washers before buying. Once you start the cycle it is locked and cannot be opened to add a missed peice or use the water to clean detergent cup. If a cycle is cancelled, I had to unplug to reset so the lid could be opened. Also the wash cycle seems to be longer the usual. No complaint on the cleaning.

Did not ever fathom despising a washing machine; purchased this six months ago, six months of misery with this thing, and I have used possibly/probably hundreds. This thing will give you pain and frustration as well as hard work (get a board and go to the river!) Six months hence, "take it away" and also dryer although dryer is Fair to OK but want matching set; back to GE and FAST! Getting to be an expensive endeavor, but I could abide this thing NO longer!

Ordered this washer to match a dryer I already had. I ordered online to be delivered from Loews. I absolutely hate this washer. It has no agitator & picks its own water levels. I have taken clothes out of dryer that are still dry even after choosing a high water level. It also twists clothes up to where they are tangled together. Also, lint is a big problem with this washer. It is up to the dryer to get lint off wet clothes. I should have returned it, but thought I would adapt. Single person so did not use enough to get a good idea on all the works. Lid also locks once washer starts. So sorry I bought this & did not return..

I am very disappointed in the perfomance of my new low- water washer!!! I just purchased this supposedly high Efficiency washer and i am working harder than my great grand mother to get the soap out of the dry cloths!!! And this is after the cycle is over!! I should be able to load the cloths the way the manufacturer tells me to, use the proper expensive detergent that is recommended for said product and wait for my clean cloths to come out to dry!! Instead i am working harder to wash cloths than i ever had to in my life$! It is very upsetting when you are expecting clean cloths but you receive cloths that was never touched by water!!! I shouldent finish a cycle woth detergent on my cloths period!!! Bad products!!! Never again!!!

We have a new washer unfortunately it does a really lousy job in cleaning the water does not cover the clothes, so you have to do more smaller loads which negates the water conservation aspect of the new machines. You have to move the clothes around in the middle of the cycle. Give me my old washer back!!

I bought this washer a few months ago for a rental. Between renters, I am testing it. It makes terrible sounds like it is broken. It does not allow enough water to go in to rinse clothes properly. It does not distribute soap properly clothes comes out with spots of soap on it. I wish I had my old washer back.

I am very disappointed with this washing machine. The spin cycle is so loud you can hear it all through the house. It's ridiculous. I had someone come look at it and they told me it's because the washer is upstairs which is bs. I can't wait for this washer to break so I can buy a new one. I would add a video so you could here how bad it is but it will not let me from my phone.

I can't wait for this washer to break. The washer goes by the weight of the clothes so you can't pack it with lightweight clothes or they won't get clean. Even using "deep water wash" doesn't help. Often when the cycle is complete, I have to take half of the load out and respin it in sections to get the water out. I hate this washer.

My washing machine is 4 years old and the repairman stated the main bearings are frozen. Parts and labor to repair over $500. There are only 2 people in our home so this product was not used an extreme amount of times. I bought this product on the Whirlpool name, thinking it was a long standing company, they would be making dependable equipment. I was wrong.
