This side-by-side refrigerator is too narrow to allow access to items stored. Also, the doors do not open wide enough to allow access. The 33 inch wide frig fit into the 35 inch space when installed (was insurred by installer there was plenty of room) but soon realized that the door was gouging the wall each time it was opened. Finally, the doors do not hang straight. In order to reach food items, I added "spinning trays" to the shelves.

Right out of the box the freezer door closed about 5/16 of an inch deeper than the other door at the top and about 3/16 of an inch deeper at the bottom. The gasket around the door was compressed and after a week the depth was about 1/8" from top to bottom. This is not what I expected from a brand new appliance so I sent an email to the company about the problem and am waiting for a reply. I shouldn't have received the refrigerator at that time, and demanded a new one, but my old one was already gone. Now I am waiting to see how long the company will take to get back to me to resolve the problem. This is costing me extra time off from work to be here for a service call because of the looks of the doors not being what they should be. The service man came and heated the gasket up to make it look like it should have been, and told me that it may not come back to the original position. Two months later it gasket is still compress, and the difference in the doors is still about 1/8 of an inch from top to bottom.

I bought this a couple of months ago and I'm loving it. Its quiet, the freezer freezes solid and the refrigerator is nice and cold. The best part is, I get to have a side by side with no ice dispenser. Thank you for making a side by side for those of us who don't use ice or cold water.

Have had it a month now and couldn't be happier. Great build quality, solid, very roomy and well designed interior, and got cold very quickly. It also runs very quiet, compared to our previous Kenmore. Have absolutely no complaints.

An excellent choice for a measured limited space in an older home. I bought this one without the water extra as I needed the freezer space that the water unit used up. I freeze the water in the ice trays when I need it. It is a basic, but fully up-to-date refrigerator for everyday use. I expect it to last many years.

The refrigerator door sticks out 1/4 inch farther than the freezer door all the way down. The store told me that all of them in came that way. It doesn't look good. You can not fit a lot in the storage doors in the refrigerator and they are hard to get into. The freezer section is ok. I needed the size and non ice maker feature so I had to get the Whirlpool. It's probably not going to last very long as it is cheaply made. The shelves on the refrigerator door are removable but fall off if you grab them the wrong way! Very disappointed!

Had to replace a 20+ year old refrigerator in a tiny space. This is the one side by side model that would fit. So far so good. Pretty quiet. Good enough space inside. Easy to reach shelves.

The only problem is that the shelves don't go all the way to back of the box. I realize that circulation is needed but you could still make a shelf that one could slide bottles and such all the way to back and allow for circulation.
