Nice oven, but slightly disappointed when I realized there was no convection fan. Both oven are conventional with heaters top and bottom.

This double wall oven was delivered and installed 2-25-2022. It has multiple repair issues which the technician has tried to replace defective parts. The oven is still not working properly-Control panel will not allow you to preheat oven to proper setting, fan malfunctions and has a burning smell when the oven is on. Both oven doors are defective-tape inside both doors is melting from the heat of the oven. Side railings are damaged and need to be replaced. I have just been on the phone with Whirlpool direct care resolution team™BETH™. Instead of replacing double oven with a new one their decision is to keep ordering parts and have the technician rebuild my oven in the home. I am afraid do use the oven because of fire hazard, my manufacturer warranty will run out while parts are being ordered, repairs are being made with no guarantee the oven will ever work properly. Whirlpool resolution team refuses my request for a new oven, will not refund the money paid for the oven. I was told by Beth this is the way Whirlpool wants to move forward with the issues and if I am not happy with their decision I can write a ™ letter™ to Whirlpool management. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, consumer affairs, etc. if you are replacing appliances stay away from Whirlpool products!! Just a note: at the bottom of this survey Whirlpool states they make the decision to post review. I don™™t expect You will see this negative review on their site.

This oven replaces a similar model from 1993 which developed control panel problems. Wife is elated with the performance and appearance of the new unit. Happy wife, happy life!

I purchased my double oven and it finally arrive about two months later. It was easily installed and after I purchased a new circuit breaker, it worked great. Easy to use and provides even heat. It is an excellent addition to my kitchen.

Old oven was chrome and smoked glass, this one is white and matches the other appliances quite well. I wasn't sure if I would like digital pad, but it has been easy to adapt to. We are very happy with our purchase.

Yes, you might ask yourself this exact same question if you purchase this model. So much condensation is coming out of the fan vent that the water drips down the front of both ovens and forms a small pool of water on the floor. We had a technician come out to look at it yesterday and he said that there's nothing he can do about it and "they all do this". I really can't (and don't want to) believe this.

wish I had these when the kids were still home, now they'll come in real handy for holiday dinners, kids & grandkids.

This is replacing a similar model, but had convection and both ovens self-cleaning. I miss my convection oven. I have read the reviews on this model, and I am afraid to use the self-cleaning feature since other users had their ovens burn out. Also, the touch-tone controls are hard to push for a person with hand arthritis- as many older women have.

Had the whirlpool subcontractor visit since it was taking too long to cook food. He said that with the new ovens the sensor is in the back of the oven and the metal casing is different so when the beep comes that the temperature has reached what you set it to add 10-15 more minutes before you put your food in
This certainly has made a difference but am still getting used to timing since it is different from the older ovens for baking times
The cooling noise is very tolerable

It's clean, it works fine, it's a little bigger than my old one, I don't like that it takes so long to warm up to the needed cooking temp. All a part of the learning curve.

Bought a new home with new whirlpool double oven and dishwasher. Both appliances do not work, was supposed to get a new oven never recieved the calls and missed Christmas and new years dinners in a new home. Was on hold for 52 minutes then transfered to another department to be on hold for another 48 minutes to be told they are now closed. Called 12/23/2020 and today is 1/7/2021

This was a replacement for my old double wall oven.
Glad to get it after 3 1/2 months. My complaint is (1} it takes too LONG to preheat and {2}
even after a 425 degree bake is finished and a lower temp (eg 375} is entered for another item, it will return to a lower temp (eg 170) and preheat to the new selected heat. Both of these seem to be a waste of electricity as well as time. I am pleased with the sleek, modern design and have used Whirlpool products for many years,

I could not purchase a larger (by width) oven, because of the space I have. I have however found it to be quite spacious, easy to operate, and convenient for my needs. I have been enjoying baking, especially breads during this period of global health concerns. The double oven affords me the opportunity to bake different food items simultaneously. Gratefully.

I bought this oven to replace a much older 24" Whirlpool double oven. The new oven is very similar to the old oven in function and appearance. I thought it would be a direct drop-in replacement but, because the new oven's case is more narrow and it's exterior trim also more narrow, I had reduce the cutout width. I did this by 1 ™
" by adding a filler piece for the wall cabinet. I would have know this ahead of time had I looked more carefully at the installation guide prior to buying the oven; however, that wouldn't have caused me to buy a different product. There are only three readily available 24" double ovens; this Whirlpool oven, the nearly identical, but 50% more expensive Kitchenaid oven and a GE product that I didn't care for. The Kitchenaid oven has exactly the same dimensions as this Whirlpool oven so the cabinet modification was unavoidable. The exterior design of the new oven is a bit better that the old one in some regards and worse in a key respect. The "bit better" is the design of the control panel - all digital and intuitively laid out with no protruding knobs or switches, and a more streamlined trim that allows the oven to protrude less from the cabinet face. The "worse" is the fairly ugly and possibly dangerous presence of exhaust vents above both ovens, immediately above the oven doors. These vents are made of sheetmetal, they are exposed to view and, more importantly, exposed to the users' hands and arms when the doors are open. The vents were manufactured so that the openings have sharp edges that gave me a cut when I ran a finger along one to check the edge - a hard swipe with a hand or arm could result in a much deeper cut. I fixed mine by using a diamond sharpening stone to "break" the edges of exposed sheet metal, reducing the danger of a deep cut. See the attached photos that show the vents. Incidentally, both the Whirlpool and the Kitchenaid versions of this oven have this design. Whirlpool, listen up, you can fix this with a simple added step in finishing that part! All that said, I'm more than happy with this oven now that it's installed and the sharp edges are gone. It has more value for money than the $1,200 more expensive Kitchenaid, giving up only a convection fan and some minor improvements in trim for that savings. It looks good in an understated way, cooks very evenly in both ovens and is simple to operate.

Run, run away from this oven! While it bakes ok. I have only used it twice. There are fan vents above the top oven and in between the two ovens. The fans start making noise and blowing warm air into the kitchen. The sound level is almost comparable to the sound your microwave might make when in use. The oven takes 12-15 minutes to preheat (my old whirlpool took 5 min.) with the fans blowing, then while you bake- the fans blow. Then you turn it off and they continue to blow for approximately 22 minutes (I actually timed all of this). There is nothing more special than enjoying your dinner after you have cooked it listening to the the roar of these fans while the oven is turned OFF. Hot air blowing into my kitchen is going to be great come the summer time, ugggh!
I purchased this from a reputable appliance store. There are only 3 choices that I could find for 24™ double ovens. Don™™t know what the answer is, but I am limited by the size of my cabinetry. I do not recommend this oven unless you literally want to be ™blown away™ by it. I am super mad that a ™Mr. Appliance™ repairman said my old oven (26 yrs old) was broken and they no longer made parts for it and it couldn™™t be repaired. All the controls worked fine, but it wouldn™™t heat, however, element became slightly hot. Long story, with two of these ovens, two sets of installers and two electricians, it turns out that I wasn™™t getting all the phases of power to m my house. Power company came out and reconnected the third phase of power. We all feel certain that this was the reason my old oven wasn™™t working and tried to get it back and it had gone to the junk pile. So mad because my old Whirlpool oven never gave me a minute™™s trouble in 26 years, had NO annoying fans and cooked my food well.

I bought this unit two years ago and eventually used the self cleaning feature. It blew the board associated with the upper oven. The technician said that they see this happen quite frequently. The repair cost $600. Customer service were unable to provide a solution to the problem. Customer service recommended using soap and water instead.

I replaced my 54 year old oven last week and so far am pleased with the performance of this one. I'm waiting for a right trim piece as there were two left ones at installation.
The one thing I don't find appealing is the design at the bottom of the oven where the fan is. I purchased it sight unseen from pictures online. Wish there was a trim piece to detract from the "notebook binder" jagged bottom.

Just installed last week and we've enjoyed cooking in it. The temp seems to be accurate and all of the various food has been cooked evenly. Interesting that it makes a noise similar to a convection oven. Definitely not used to that but it's not a problem.

Our old Whirlpool Oven went out the last of Sept., could not be fixed. Our oven opening is a 24" and we cannot budge on that. Went to the local appliance store, where we purchased the previous oven, 13 years ago and purchased the new one. Being told that in a few years 24" will not be available any more. I like the feature of being to use the keypad to tell of what numbers to use. Instead of holding my figure on an up or down arrow. The windows are bigger and better. We have had to use the instruction book, but that is OK. They say the oven is noisy, maybe for just a few minutes after cooking, but it turn off very soon. So do I like my new oven? A defiant YES!!!

This was a great transaction from the start. I had to order the oven and it arrived on the exact date that it was scheduled. It was packaged great, easy to unbox. Arrived in absolutely perfect condition, not a scratch. Installed it myself, it fit exactly and 3 wires to connect, could not have been easier. All parts were there, missing nothing. Turned it on and worked perfect. Instructions good and oven is very easy to use. I was highly amused at the Sabbath setting option, didn't realize that appliances had that option. The only problem I had was I didn't lock the hinges in position when I removed the doors. But looked on YouTube and there was a video that showed exactly how to solve the problem, 5 minutes later doors back on and looking great. This is an honest review, I really do like the new oven and it really is as good as I have stated.

I installed this in my mother in law's house to replace the old one that was 49 years old. It was the original oven! It was very easy to install. Tip: I used a small hydraulic motorcycle lift to take the old one out and put this one in. Was able to do it by myself. No heavy lifting! My wife made dinner in it that night and it cooked everything fantastic. She said it was very easy to use. My mother in law loves the features and functionality. The only thing we noticed is that no matter which door you open, the lights come on in both ovens. There are 2 lights in each oven so you can see very well! Also, both ovens are the same size, unlike the old one. That gives you much more versatility. The racks have more adjustability and there are 2 in each oven.
