I had not been without a microwave in my kitchen since 1975, when my 20 year old Whirlpool Gold gave up the ghost last August. For 6 months I did without. We would shop for a replacement and walk out empty handed. Finally, hubs got tired of not having popcorn on demand and told me to just pick one and buy it. So, I did. This has the features I need and functions well.

This unit has had to be repaired at least every 4 to 6 months. Worked fine for a short while then the door locks kept freezing up, needing to be reset or replaced because it won't work otherwise. Light continually flickers. It is ok for a stove light... NOT.WORTH.THE.MONEY!

We had to replace our kitchen Aid microwave after just 2 1/2 years..... decided to go with this one because it was a perfect fit to our cabinets. It's a great look. It's a little on the loud side and is inconsistent on cooking times. Over all a good purchase! Let's hope that Whirlpool has better staff in serving their customers than Kitchen Aid does!

I bought this to replace an older Whirlpool Microwave that was almost 15 years old and making motor sounds. This was a well priced model and looks great in my kitchen. Controls are about the same and easy to use. What I like best is the 30 second cook button that can be pressed multiple times to get the desired quick cooking time.

Microwave itself works great. It's downfall is that it's made entirely of stainless steel. The MW is at the recommended height of 30" above the cooktop. Unfortunately, even with the exhaust fan on high, you can't open the MW door without a potholder. The stainless steel handle gets extremely hot. Other than than, good appliance.

The homebuilders chose Whirlpool so I didn't have a say. I like the microwave. It's pretty standard. Quiet, only beeps once when u left food in there, heats appropriately. I've had better microwaves...it's decent.

Well built and attractive microwave. The only thing missing are there are no auto buttons for selecting cooking time between 1-5 minutes. I can only push 30 seconds or have to manually enter cooking timrs.
