The burners do not work properly. It takes FOREVER to boil water! I have never had such a difficult time boiling water for pasta dishes as I have since purchasing this range.

I bought my new whirlpool stove three years ago and now the oven isn't working and the sevice department told me the part I need will cost $300, pluse another $146 for the service call to install it, plus tax . i m ight as well get a new stove, probably more than $500. how do you think i feel ?

We own a small 8 unit apartment building. In 4 of the 8 units we have replaced the ranges with The Whirlpool 4.8 Cu. Ft. Freestanding AccuBake range. Our tenants have been delighted and we have yet to experience one repair. In making our decision to purchase the Whirlpool range we consulted other apartment owners as well as our local appliance store, Steeles Appliances in Deer Lodge, MT. Cost and quality as well as dependability were the key factors in our decision and the Whirlpool met them all. After more than a year of service they look and perform like new.

Burner heat issue

I do not like the way the burner heats. It takes longer for water to boil and in some cases, the water does not boil at all even when the burner has been on high the whole time. Also, if you turn off the timer when you have the oven going, the oven turns off as well. Both issues are probably new features. Both are not convenient for me.

I have really found nothing about this range I like. I had had less than 2 month and it had to be repaired. I absolutely hate the ringing burner. The fact the burner will not hold a the same temperature is a negative. Frying anything ends up being soggy. Not happy at all. Purchased a dishwasher 3 months earlier, very unhappy. No more Whirlpool products in my home. All I had ever use for 50 years, but no more. Quality has been sacrificed.

I had to replace my range from 1994 just before Thanksgiving in 2019. I chose this thinking it would serve my needs. First of all it is much more flimsy than my original stove. The bottom "warming" storage drawer holds far less and things can fall out the back and wind up under the stove. I have already had one burner stop working so I had to call for a replacement which I have not yet received. Also, I think these are "smart" burners to avoid pots boiling over but what happens is that suddenly a pot will stop boiling in the middle of cooking and then will slowly start up again. Wish I could deactivate that feature. Wish I could recommend this range but I honestly can't. I wouldn't buy again.

We bought this in Sept 2019. After several months of trying to find the magic setting to not only boil water but keep it boiling-(for pasta, eggs) it was impossible. I kept having to move the pot around to the hot spots and then it only boiled in that specific location. I ended up buying some replacement elements that do not have that extra "box" on them that is "temperature limiting" feature described in the manual. The new elements work perfectly-water boils at an acceptable time and keeps boiling. I wish I would have read the reviews before I bought it. Lesson learned.

Nice Features in the, easy to operate, oven settings. Would have gotten a 5 stars if the burner knobs were easier to negotiate. The knobs on both sides could be marked with (F) front & ® rear. Now that stainless is the new standard, you pay more for white, which I don't agree with. The oven works great and bakes very evenly. The top coils heat very fast. All around, it's a great improvement over our old GE.

I had problems boiling water.It took over 1hour to even start boiling not even rolling boil.
When you first turned it on,the whole burner is red and heated up,then after 5 minutes,the inner ring goes off and only the outer one is hot .I thought I had gotten a faulty stove.
I am not at all happy with the coils.it almost takes 4 to 5 years of cooking.It does not heat enough to deep fry fishes ,fries.this stove is useless to me

I was truly wanting a gas stove, but I wanted it to be white, and we were limited to the size. Most of them start out at 30™, we could not have anything over 29 and 3/4™ , I had to have a large storage place to put my lids. The gas stoves that we looked at , the storage was half as tall, black or sliver or both, and the knobs were down in the front. And the other stoves were glass top, which I do not like. So we went with this one and glad I did it had what I was looking for and fit perfect in the space!
There is just a couple of things that I had trouble with, they taped the burners down and the tape did not come off very good. And instead of putting the book in a plastic bag and using a bread tie and fasten it to the rack like that, it was taped on the glass, and I was not the one who took it out SO I DID NOT KNOW IT WAS THERE, SO WHEN I TURNED THE OVEN ON THE TAPE REALLY STUCK TO THE GLASS AND MELTED OVER ON THE OVEN DOOR! Oh My! But We Did Get It Off! Thank goodness!!! And I also had to take a colored marker and make a mark on the knob so that I could see where it was pointing to. As we get older the eyes are not as good! LOL !

If you are in the market for a basic, no frills electric range with a self cleaning oven, this is the one you want. Nothing fancy about it and easy to operate.It is exactly what we were looking for!!! We also like the oven light comes on whenever you open the door. Very handy!!

I like my new range, but I was disappointed that I am unable to use my old cast iron skillet on the range top. Yes, the manual explains how to place a ruler across the pan bottom and to make sure that no space or light can be seen between it and the cookware when you rotate the ruler. Of course, I didn't know this when I purchased the range. It would be good if the salesperson mentioned that before closing the deal. It isn't a deal-breaker, but would be nice to know earlier.

This is to replace a ceramic top range and was purchased during Black Friday deals (still in the experimental stage). Need to still get used to the 'swapping' of the coils (large used to be on right front of range). Have yet to do any of my tried and true baking recipes to see how the range truly performs(i.e if adjusting heat level is necessary so item does not burn). Otherwise, just glad I could still get a coil top range that has better temperature control.

Very happy with our WFC310S0EW stove. It has more power than our previous, Non Whirlpool stove. My fears of Sensi-temp cooking were unfounded as we have been able to bring liquids to boil without the stove adjusting the temp on us. The oven heats fairly quickly, certainly no longer than any other oven I have used. I like looking at the oven as it preheats and displays the temp as it rises, so you can estimate when it will reach the set heat. Also, there was no chemical odor when oven was used first time. I do agree with one reviewer stating that the knobs are poorly marked. They are a light gray and show up poorly against the white---my only complaint. Have not needed to use the self cleaning oven feature yet. This stove was able to handle Thanksgiving dinner with no problem. Looking forward to lots of cooking/baking with this stove!!

I am delighted overall with my new stove, but very disappointed in the various markings for the burners and the stove temperature readings. It appears that these figures are printed in light grey (or a different white color than the face of the stove). In either event, my eighty-eight year old eyes cannot read the printing. I came very close to returning the stove, but could not wait 2 weeks for another one. The only solution was to paint black numbers on the new stove as a safety factor. Print also too tiny. POOR DESIGN DECISION.

I had an 1961 stove that finally gave out. So I look for a stove I like the looks at different stores. I found this one and went to look at it and bought it. Love now that I have four burners that work. I love the fact the oven goes to the correct temperature without worry it would not work right. Cant wait until holidays baking time. Love the stove.

This stove, while not as fancy as some of the higher priced models, it has beautiful lines and functions are easy to use. The door, drawer and hardware feel sturdy and very well made. Great value!

She loves the AccuBake System. It's worth every penny. Perfect results. Nice big door window. Straight forward timer.
I'm at home with the stove top coil elements. Coil elements remain the best choice for durability with cast iron cookware for even heating and consistent results.

this stove is OK, I really do not like the temperature limiting coils. I want to control my own cooking time. Had food on the stove on warm, it eventually completely shut off. I realize this is a safety feature. Wish I would have read up on this first. Somewhat disappointed.
