I bought in Dec and still don"t like it. Wish I had an old coil stove. Bought all the right cleansers, but they don't do a very good job. Have used paper towels, cloth towels, micro towels and there semms to always be smudges. Can't get some styuff off, even water spots. My son-in-law doesn't like theirs either. Not a Whirlepool. We have same problems. Cooking is ok, but... Guess I'm just too old. They didn't have a coil stove for me to buy; it's all new stuff and not for the better. Tap control -ok

I am enjoying my new cooktop. Obviously when replacing a 15+ year old cooktop, it has to be better. I am still learning. One backdrop (unless I haven't figured it out), is that I have to select it again when wanting to increase or decrease heat rather than just hitting the temperature bar.

Purchased in September for a new home being built and I could hardly wait to use it! Finally in December I was able to use it. I especially love the clean no-knob design, it's one complete flat surface. We purchased ALL Whirlpool appliances (7 total) for our new in-law addition on my daughter's house. I've been using the this cooktop for approx 2 months now. No complaints . Easy, intuitive,and works very well. Touch sensors work really good. There a locking mechanism to prevent children from turning the stove on by accident. Overall very happy.

We bought this after dropping a pan on our induction cooktop and cracking it. While it does not heat as fast as the induction, it does fine for the price. (Nearly half the price of induction) Cleans easily, nice touch controls and features five burners.

I love the easy clean up and the great looks of this stove top - the down side is that one of the large burners should be in the front - the other down side is that when I was canning, the large pots had a hard time coming to a boil - the burners do not stay on full time and power off and on...

The safety features on this cook top are great. Am buying new cookware because they look awful on this beautiful cook top. Foods heat evenly and quickly. I love it! Can't wait to get home to cook. Oh, did I tell you that I am a chef by profession and my Whirlpool home appliances are so so much easier to use then at my workplace. My hats off to you Whirlpool.

So pleased with the cooktop. It is pretty, and changes the look of the kitchen. My old cooktop was 25 years old. I am expecting it to be more efficient than my old cooktop. Really like the touch controls for the different eyes on the stove. Because I got a new cooktop, I decided I needed to get new cookware!

This appliance is great! It heats rapidly and the temperature seems to be evenly distributed. The controls are straightforward and simple to operate. The warming burner is handy. If there was any downside, it would be the strange odor the first couple of times dishes were cooked on high.

I have had this installed for about five weeks. I love how smooth it is. I am realizing that a lot of my pots and pans are warped and so they tend to spin around on my new cooktop while I'm stirring if I don't hold the handles. I am not enjoying the marks that they make on the glass when they slide or spin, but they are pretty easy to clean off with the specific glass top cleaning kit I got.

During a recent kitchen remodel I replaced my slide in range for a cooktop and a wall mount oven combo unit. This cooktop is larger than my previous stove and I love it. My favorite feature is the locking system. You can lock the buttons so no one accidently turns the burners on. This is awesome! To clean it, I use an ammonia free spray foam glass cleaner. It works perfectly. This element heats fast and cooks evenly.

I bought this stovetop to replace my Whirlpool stovetop we installed when we built our house 28 years ago. I chose it because my original one lasted so long and still looked good. I like that the new one has five burners and no knobs. It is very easy to clean and heats evenly and quickly. I love it.
