My husband and I raise our own beef. We had a 1560 pound steer processed that gave us a carcass weight of 880 pounds of packaged meat. We decided we needed extra freezer space before we brought the packaged beef home. We currently have a 21 cu ft chest freezer. We called our local appliance salesman to see what was available. He told us that he could deliver an Amana 15 cu ft chest freezer to us the very next day. We told him to bring it on over. We live in a very rural area and were amazed to even be able to get our hands on a freezer without ordering it and waiting weeks or months for it to arrive. I love our new freezer. It has a very clean look to it. It cooled down quickly and we are very happy with it.

We have had our Amana Freezer for over 30+ years and it is still working. In our new home I wanted another Amana and had to wait over a year for it to be available due to supply shortages. The first one arrived with a scratch in it (appliance store issue)..A few more months brought us another one which had a small dent in it under the styrofoam so obviously a factory issue. LOVE this freezer for it's energy saving and easy to clean interior. Lightweight baskets make it easy to load. Plenty of room. Only wish it had an interior light when open.

My old freezer was 30 years old and I never had a problem. I was leery about buying a new freezer since it was so long since my last purchase and I wanted to be sure I could find one made in the USA. I was assured by the sales person that this was a good brand and was manufactured in the USA. My wife and I raised 5 children and many foster children over the years and had a 23cu size and our new one is now a14.8cu size since we are empty nesters.

I™™d have gave five stars but that darn Amana tag on the front of the appliance cut the crud outta me.

I bought this freezer a couple of months ago. I had never had the Amana brand before but have no regrets. The two baskets that slide around help me gain access to items in the bottom of the freezer easily. I am happy we decided to get this one.

My freezer stopped working after defrosting and 35 years of use. The new freezer was ready for me in the aft and was the perfect fit. It now is saving me money on my electric bill AND allows me to sort my freezer use due to the handy baskets.

I had a kenmore chest freezer with auto defrost and quick cool shelf which had 5 large metal baskets on two rails which was a lot easier to store items than reaching clear to the bottom which is hard when you are only 5™™3™ tall. I hate having to defrost it manually, my old one heated up on the sides and ice was easily to knock into pans. Not everyone has a drain inside of their house and water doesn™™t run uphill with a hose out of a window. Shame products are not made as good as they used to be!

It's great to have a big cavernous freezer to fill with homemade dinners and frozen veggies from the garden. The only problem is that it doesn't have either a light or an alarm to indicate that the freezer is working, or more importantly not working. I unfortunately had some issues with the electrical circuit that the freezer is plugged into (unrelated to the freezer itself), and only discovered the unit was off when I lifted the cover to find everything thawing out. That happened three times before I got the electric figured out, so it was really annoying to question the safety of the meats etc. post thaw. Doesn't seem like it would take much effort on Amana's part to add an indicator light or alarm. Other than that, the freezer is awesome!

It runs well. It has a low, quiet, humming sound and it also freezes with great precision. My groceries stay chilled thoroughly! This thing holds so much stuff! I am overwhelmed at how deep and spacious it is! Definitely a great buy!

We were on a waiting list with the Local Dealer, and he called when extra freezers were delivered.

I bought these two freezers for the meat that I purchased for our food ministry which is Nocona Ministries, home of A Hand Up.. We had an opportunity to purchase extra meat at a great price from our local food bank in Wichita Falls, Tx. and needed the extra space. They work perfectly.

I've had 2 small chest freezers full and constantly digging through them to find what I want or forgetting I had something because it became buried. My new chest freezer allows me to be far better organized and should be an electric saver. The features are straightforward and easy to use.

We like the fact that the freezer has a lot of open space. The depth and the width of the baskets is great. One thing that would be helpful just to have a light of some sort on the outside to know that the freezer is running. It is so quiet can't hear the motor running.

I was baking Christmas goodies and realized I did not have enough freezer space to store them! I immediately ordered this Amana freezer and it arrived in a couple of days and I started filling it! It is the perfect size-not too big and not too small. The two baskets hold breads and baked goods and I also ordered the ice tray to store cubed ice. I am so happy with this appliance and we are eating well too!

Bought and installed Nov 1, 2017. Two days later placed about 350 lbs of frozen beef in it. It had no problem adjusting the temperature to accommodate, unlike a different brand we bought a few years back. So far, so good with this brand.

Not what I saw on computer screen at store. The freezer (on computer screen) had a freezer alarm, on light, interior light, and lock. Not on the freezer I received. All these are options. Perhaps this is the fault of the salesman but it looks like a cheap product. Really! no "on" light. Also the guts (motor and tubes are hanging out by about two inches. No screen cover over motor and parts??? Is this even safe? Plastic baskets inside..I wonder how long these will last. Plastic becomes very brittle when frozen. Feet? What feet..two are round bumps and the other two feet are L shaped corners. these are made to slide on carpets and I'll have to adapt something for the feet to slide on concrete (for cleaning). I wonder how cheap this is. Proud to advertise "Amana" and "made in usa" I thought, this is good...mmm...thought wrong :( On the good side. I am guessing it will consume less energy

We are very lucky that our old 47 years old freezer quit and we discovered it instantly! You just ignore their age and depend on them. Called my favorite appliance place and they delivered this freezer immediately! It is so quiet and very attractive. Now I am looking at our 42 year old 22 cu ft freezer which we will be replacing it with a new Freezer. Your product is great! Peace of mind!
