Bought 4 years ago, but a year ago the buttons on the ice maker front panel cracked out completely (see pic) and now the light for the water selector is also out. The design of the button selector is horrible as you have to depress each button down a good distance to select it, but the front panel is flat plastic with no way for it to give and so it's easy to see why it cracked so quickly. It looks horrible now and we keep having to explain to guests how to get water and ice as the button descriptions are broken out! We have treated the fridge very well and not mistreated it in any way.
Secondly, there are not enough shelves in either the fridge or freezer - had to buy more online after initial purchase.

3 things I like..It is affordable and keeps the food very cold. I like the black finish on the sides. 3 things about the refrigerator that I do not like. The exterior door holds every fingerprint. Hard to keep clean. Secondly the interior door shelves are not strong. One broke in the first few months I had it. So do not put any items that are heavy on them like milk. Thirdly...the ice maker broke before it was 18 months old.

Great Frig so far and Ice maker is one of the best I have used. Would say Buy this one. If any Con - inside door pockets in the Freezer if possible could be a bigger space.

Bought this for my 86 year old inlaws works great they love the water and ice in the door but they need a top shelf for their milk and heavy bottles so the don't have to bend down

I gave it four stars because I feel it could use one more shelf inside the fridge or a meat cheese drawer ( my past fridge had three drawers which I really miss). I love the ice water on the door, it encourages all of us to drink more water.

We bought this refrigerator for our 600 sq ft cabin and it looks and works great! Very roomy and keeps everything at the right temperature. The only thing I miss is a deli drawer but it's still worth the money.

I like this refrigerator a lot. It's roomy and quiet. My only complaint is that it has a place for a 4th shelf and a 5th door bin. They are very expensive to purchase separately. I think they should have been included with the refrigerator.

We bought this last month and we love it! Well lit inside (fridge AND freezer) so it's easy to find everything. (Unlike our old one where things hid a lot in the dark back.) Hubby is especially enamored of the freezer feature of getting ice cubes and cold water from the outside of it! (He might love it more than he does me, LOL.) We are both very happy!

I am very happy with this refrigerator! There is plenty of room in the freezer, the ice maker is on top out of the way. The shelves in the refrigerator are adjustable to what you need them for and plenty of room in the door for storage. Amana backs its products, you can count on them to back their products!

In the beginning I was worried about the strange noises made by the machine but finally figured out that they were normal since it was a sensing machine. The clothes always come out very clean and I am amazed at how dry the spin cycle makes them thus saving money by shorter drying times. I am thoroughly satisfied with my new washer!

This fridge is the opposite of "all the bells and whistles". It is very basic and does the job you need it to (keep your food cold) but it lacks some basic convenience items I'm used to. The biggest issue with this fridge for me is that the shelves aren't multi-level adjustable. There's only a few shelves and they cannot be moved up an inch or two or even 6. There are only slots in a few places so you just have to make it work. There is also no temperature gauge to verify what temp the refrigerator or freezer is at. I do love where the water filter is located because it makes it easy to change out your water filter. I also think it was a great value.

I love the new refrigerator! It fit perfectly in the small space in my kitchen. No complaints so far. I do, however, notice a humming sound sometimes, but I guess that is to be expected. I had no idea that Amana was related to Whirlpool, which was one of the reasons I decided to go ahead and purchase it. Both brands are very reputable.

This side by side is spacious. A turkey easily fits. The freezer is accessible and roomy. Water and ice dispenser work great and the lock feature keeps curious children from constant playing with it. It works without fuss and the stainless is lovely. The exterior design is modern with clean simple lines. The two vegetable and fruit drawers are quite ample.The biggest drawback is there is no meat drawer. The stainless does show fingerprints but that is expected. A little stainless shine cleaner and a soft cloth keeps this refrigerator looking shiny and new. Price was reasonable and exceptional for this product.

Purchased last month and I am very happy with it. The only thing I would have them change is the water dispenser is a little further out than the width of most various cups (all I have). Water always misses inside of cup and falls on door of fridge.

I actually bought two of these. One for my home and one for a rental. It's better than average with good price tag. Finger prints show a lot, so I can't give it 5 stars, but that's pretty much the only draw back I can complain about.
