Bought this over summer---- door starting to show rust on outside, and excessive moisture on inside. Called Amana and they dispatched a certified Technician to inspect the appliance. The tech called Amana and conferred with an Amana expert----together they determined that the appliance was defective. In turn, Amana agreed to replace. I would recommend this product due to Amana's position of standing behind their products.

We love this refrigerator!

We have a limited size space for a refrigerator in our kitchen and was looking to replace our existing refrigerator with a side-by-side model that had ice in the door. My wife and I needed a refrigerator the exact size of this Amana product, and I can certainly say that we are both 100% satisfied with it. Plenty of space for the two if us, nice design, and it fits our needs and wants ideally. I would buy this exact refrigerator again with zero hesitation. If I could change one thing, it would be in their specifications for this refrigerator. Although a lot of dimensions are listed for this model, the width of the refrigerator with the right side door opened ninety degrees is not specified. This was imperative information that we had to know before purchasing, since we had only thirty four inches of width total to make a refrigerator fit. Thankfully we found a store locally who sells this refrigerator so I could measure the store's display model with this door open to make sure it would fit.

purchased in May and compressor/evap broke down in February (less than a year). I had to trash $250 worth of food, and no reimbursement for that. Took 3 technician visits to fix the problem, almost 2 weeks without a refridgerator. Never had a problem with other brand before.

The size we bought fits perfectly into the space, and looks like it is custom build in. The door bins hold gallons & are adjustable. The main shelves are easy to adjust. The inside is very easy to clean.

I purchased Amana products because of their reputation for quality. I am very disappointed. Item was not installed properly (I realize this is not the manufacturers problem) but this contributed to my not noticing a major problem with the side by side doors not being aligned evenly. in addition the left door does not align vertically with the refrigerator unit.

This refrigerator is great! It actually works to keep food chilled in the appropriate way......with the crisper drawer actually keeping items fresh.....not frozen or spoiled! The lighted interior and clear shelving helps so much to identify what is where inside.

Love my new fridge. Works great. To great. Can not keep it stocked fast enough. My kids are always in it. We love the water and ice feature. Unfortunately I never get any ice. My kids all have nice cold drinks, It is a good size and fits in the space by my cabinets. Looks nice and works great.

We decided to purchased a side by side because we had inherited one in the past which we liked. It was the best choice we could have made! The ice and water feature are new for us but, I wonder how we ever managed without it! The wide door shelves are awesome and because they are closed in all my little containers do not fall out. We now use only one crisper and use the deli tray from the old Frig. Would like some adjustable shelves in freezer. It was one of the few that would fit in our space. Because of more insulation it has a bit less room inside than the old one. The switch for ice and water needs to be lower so one can activate the switch while tilting the top of the glass out to catch the ice. The metal hinges are not painted so the edge shows too much We have black so I will paint them my self.

This is my first Amana fridge. I absolutely LOVE it. I got it in black to match the rest of my appliances. Fantastic!! I especially love the lock out feature for the ice and water as I have two grandchildren that love to push buttons. I get a lot of compliments on all the storage space I have for the size I bought. Bought this fridge on a recommendation from a friend. Fridge looks great and works great. Love the draws in the fridge, wire shelves in the freezer and the lock function on the water dispenser. Easy to install as well.

It is a great American-made refrigerator. Ice maker is easy to operate. Like the wide shelf on door for gallon-size milk. Everything is easy to reach. Would have liked the bottom drawer for cheese and lunch meat to be deeper. Does not accommodate for sliced cheese, shredded cheese, lunch meat and cheese sticks very well. Overall, I like the Amana refrigerator.

We bought this 6 months ago, Like it and very fuctionable. Freezer area a bit small and ice maker very noisy. Like not enough insulation to quiet it. Great fit for Mobile home. Over all rate it good.

Product is ok, but the toggle buttons for the water/ice are cheap feeling and sounding. My main complaint was withe the installer, however. He was in a big rush to get out and even after calling him back that day, the frig doors were still not level. I had to get another installer to come and fix them.

First of all, let me start by saying that I bought this refrigerator primarily because it was the only one - with a water filter - that was short enough to fit under my low cabinets. Also, my parents have owned an Amana refrigerator for over 10 years with no problems. There is no deli drawer. Amana customer service will tell you that the bottom crisper drawer is the deli drawer, but who in the world would ever do that? I need both crisper drawers for my produce. How hard or expensive would it have been to put a tiny little deli drawer under one of the top shelves? It makes for a very messy refrigerator with your deli meats and cheese bags laying right on the shelf. The freezer is very narrow and the shelves are very close together and are not able to be rearranged, from what I can tell. It is a nice looking refrigerator and does not smudge too easily. The water filter produces good tasting water. And as I said before, it is shorter than most refrigerators but also quite narrow.

We bought this to replace a very old but still working refrigerator who's icemaker didn't work anymore. We would have liked to have had a larger model, but we had to buy one that would fit into the space alloted for it back in the 80's when the house was built. We are very pleased.

The refrigerator fits perfectly in the cabinet/counter top area reserved for the appliance. I can get a lot of items in the refrigerator and the freezer space. I like the LED lights and the thought of not having to purchase a bulb for YEARS makes me happy! The refrigerator is at our lake house and I appreciate the filtered water and the clear appearance of the ice cubes. I do have one minor complaint. The crisper drawers do not glide open or close easily. I often over compensate when opening the drawer and pull the drawer completely out and then have to wrestle with putting it back on the track. We were very happy with our appliance dealer and their expertise with the installation. They took care of all the installation and made sure we were satisfied with the new appliance.

When our old refrigerator broke down we had to get another refrigerator quickly. We decided on this Amana because it was the right size for the space, it was available for delivery that week and the reviews were good. Have not had the opportunity to hook up the water line for water and ice in the door, so I can't comment on that. This refrigerator is a beautiful addition to the kitchen.
