Good thing I opted for the 3 year warranty, because the oven failed just 1 month short of the term. After two visits from the repair tech., it was back in service. Now, after 2 years, the oven igniter has once again failed. I suspect that there is a faulty design, or weak parts involved.

I love my new stove however it came with only ONE baking rack for the oven! Trying to find another baking rack is a challenge and VERY frustrating. Not sure if I would recommend this product...depends on your oven needs.

I bought 5 months ago, just got a few weeks ago, right out the box burners would not light and pots slid off burner grates, had tech come out and was told burner issue was due to condensation in the air but would go away, burners still do not light, tech ordered new grates but have not seen them or heard from them when they MIGHT arrive, when oven is on oven racks constantly jump in slots due to heat on and off during heat cycle, very annoying, but tech says this is normal, my last gas range oven racks never jumped

Sorry I trusted the name. Door gasket broke, oven floor would not sit straight. Burners would not go to low. All this in the first 2 weeks of owning. Repair man came and fixed some of the problems but still am not pleased. When oven is on the burner knobs get so hot I have trouble cooking on the range. Also to use the broiler you have to take a rack out of the oven. I paid enough that I think you could include a broiler rack and pan.

I went with Amana because I thought it was a good brand. Also I needed something right away, it was available and in my price range. It's a great stove if all you want to do is boil water. Three of the four burners are way too high on even the lowest setting, so there's only one really usable burner and it's at the back, so not very comfortable. The stove top grates wobble (eggs slide to one side of the pan) and the oven racks aren't even either - poor quality. The oven stinks up the house (smells like burning metal) when cooking something at a high temperature, like a baked potato. The "beep" when setting the clock or oven temperature is way too loud - it's ear piercing. The space between the stove top grates is too narrow to use as a working surface when cooking - poor design. It looks nice in my kitchen, but as I said, if you only need to boil water, it's great. If you really want to cook, get something else - ANYTHING else!

This looked to be a great purchase until I turned on the oven and promptly almost suffered a burned finger when I touched the stove top after 20 minutes of on time. I had the Amana people send out a tech to check on the problem. The stove top reached 142* I couldn't send it back because the cut off limit of heat was 160* If you have children or pets be sure to keep them AWAY from this model. I would NOT recommend purchasing it.

This unit is comparable to pricing. The oven is roughly 25 degrees differential from set temp. If set for 350 degrees, actual verified by thermometer is 325. The top burners since they are not sealed are temperamental to light by the ignitor. Spend the extra cash and get sealed burners.

When I bought this range I didn't realize there were 3 high output burners and 1 "simmer" burner. If all you are going to do is see how fast you can make water boil they are great. These high output burners, even on lowest setting, require me to watch the pot, so to say, constantly otherwise food will burn. Another thing, why put the "simmer" burner at the rear of the range top? Would have liked it to be at the front of the top so it is easier to reach and use. The only good point is the oven does work nicely. I am disappointed with this range, should have saved my money and fixed my old one. I will tell anyone looking at this range to look at a different one. Not happy at all.

The rack on the top of the stove is so slick my pans slide off. The 1st time I used it was bacon grease and luckily my cats and I moved fast enough but grease all over the floor. 2nd and 3rd time I caught the pan. I literally have to stand and hold my pans so they don't slide off. This is an accident waiting happen and I emailed whirlpool about this problem over a week ago. I hope you can come up with different tops that aren't so slick.

This is a review that I thought I would not have to write. My current oven is a replacement for the Amana that was first delivered. The first one was dented on the inside. And the broiler door was lopsided. The one draw back on the stovetop are the grates. They do not sit level. Both stoves had that same problem. I bought this to replace a 2 year old gas range. I find most things are not as sturdy as the ones from 20 years ago and this is no exception. For the cost, it is very utilitarian. When first installed, it eas making a banging noise when I baked. The repairman quickly found the problem and ordered the new part. It was repaired in three days.

Replacement oven

This is the second oven I have had by Amana. First one igniter went out and couldn™€™t get part so they replaced it. I like the oven, easy to use and cooks evenly.

We bought our stove 2 months ago and I couldn't believe the difference between it and our previous stove. The Amana stove heated more evenly and it has made learning to cook easier for my almost teenage daughters. I love the digital controls. My favorite part is the 1 piece grate for each set of burners, it makes using large pans a breeze.

A few problems with the stove. The rack bares in the oven are too far apart. Also they really need to supply 2 oven racks and a rack for the broiler. I find that one of the burnerpot grills(?) has a high point that allows pots to slide off....also, the thermostat in the oven seems to be low, I have to sent the temp 10 degree above directions to get desired results...

BEWARE. Only 1 of 4 Jets Has A "Low" Setting.

I bought this at Home Depot, which does not take returns, so I am stuck with a stove that has ONLY one jet with a "low" setting. Three of the jets can only be set to High, Medium High, and Medium (barely). Even though the know has a low setting, the jets continue to fire high. Only the back right jet can be lowered enough to simmer rice or cook an egg. I am constantly juggling pots on the range top. I am extremely upset and frustrated. The Customer Service reps are nice enough, but they cannot resolve this for me. I have called and emailed and been referred to local service people who send me back to Whirlpool. Back and forth and no resolution. Why would anyone make a stove top like this where only one jet can be lowered to a true low? The stove is brand new and I am struggling to be able to use it. I believe Whirlpool/Amana has produced a flawed design, and they should take this stove back. I hope people read this before getting stuck the way I have.

I bought this in April & have been very happy with it. I have a small galley kitchen & it fits nicely. It has less cook top surface space than my old range, but that's not a deal breaker.

I purchased my stove 04/28/2021. I called right away 05/03/2021 because the stove came with a missing oven rack and unbalance grates. The unbalance grates are flimsy poorly made and seesaw back-and-forth while you™€™re cooking making it dangerous and a fire hazard. The first time I called the lady was very pleasant the second time I called the lady made it seem like I was bothering her for checking on the status of my order only to state that the parts will not be in the warehouse until 05/25/2021. I called today 06/18/2021 to find out that the parts are in the warehouse but they probably will not be able to get to ship them out until 30 to 45 days so now I™€™m looking into the end of July. This experience have been a nightmare I basically have a stove that can not safely use.

Great Range, Fantastic Customer Service/Delivery

I needed a range slightly under 30" wide. This one fit perfectly. Love the 2 single grates (instead of 4). Easier for cleaning. The electronic controls are easy to use. A minimal downfall of having only 2 racks and no broiler rack or pan, but I normally only use one in the oven and installed the 2nd rack for use in the broiler. Also kept my old broiler pan before I donated the old range. Others commented on the burners and the low setting. I agree, the low setting is a little higher than I wanted and I scorched my pot the first time using the front burner on low. I did find if you are simmering, use the smallest burner in the back. It works better for the lowest setting. The oven temperature is very accurate for baking. Delivery time was earlier than expected. Customer service kept us updated continuously on the status of our order. The delivery and installers were very professional.
