I am still adjusting to the new stove. The one thing I am disappointed in is the low setting on burners (especially the left front) doesnt differ very much from the medium. Left front doesnt differ at all. I have had many incidents of food sticking on the bottom of pans. I havent used the broiler yet. I really loved my previous Roper drop in which I had sine 1986. All in one. If there is a way to lower the low settings I would appreciate the feedback. Sincerely, Dielda

Was in a new house when we bought the house, we didn™™t have a choice. For some reason, the grill top is super slippery and pans want slide off when you™™re trying to cook. Your open to a major law suit when a pan slides off ad spills hot water or oil a someone or a child.

I was remodeling my kitchen with new counters, cabinets, and some appliances. I had an old cook top and oven (in the wall), and due to my new cabinets, I had to find a new all in one range. My house was built in the 50's so I wanted something that still fit the decor, so nothing too modern. This was perfect. However, one of the burners does not ignite as quickly as the others, and another burner when set on low, does not go low. The flame is still pretty high and not "keeping warm". Wondering if this is fixable?

Our new Amana stove came with defective stove-top grates. No pot or pan rests flat on the stove. Eggs slide to the side of the pan. Pots wobble and present an hazard of spillage. No resolution has been proposed.

Easy to level. Stove top burners do not adjust well (high or low flame, medium seems unachievable). I like the constant temperature readings as the oven preheats.

Bought this stove 3 weeks ago to replace an LG stove that had been nothing but a headache and was constantly breaking. So far I love this stove. The oven heats up quickly, the burners are powerful, boiling water much quicker than my old stove. Looks great with my other appliances and is an all around great choice if you're looking for a basic stove with an affordable price tag. The only con I've found is the grate over the burners. I wish it was more heavy duty.

It works, it's ok but far from great. Though all 4 burners have a "low" setting, only one can be considered low, in my opinion. The higher power burner does not come close to being low. The two "normal" burners are arranged diagonally opposite. Again in my opinion, they should both be in front. No broiler tray was included, only an offer to purchase one. This is absurd - this should be included. Lastly, the prongs of the burner grates are not level. Although the unit is level, two of the grates allow pans to sit unevenly and will rock. When I tried to level them, one appeared to crack a bit. These should have been examined or tested before leaving the factory, surely before being delivered.

I'm so glad I purchased my Amana gas range stove. Beautiful stainless steel and black. Had a power outage that cause my stove to stick and the oven wouldn't work. Called Amana service line and within a week they sent a technician out to come fix my stove FREE OF CHARGE. The issue with the stove was something that just happened to malfunction it wasn't caused by fault and my stove was back up and running within an hour. I'm so pleased with my purchase and I recommend everyone to buy Amana appliances and products. Thank you Amana!!!

I bought Amana gas range a month ago. I found two things that are need improvement.
1. The oven needs better insulation to keep the out surface from getting too hot. When the oven temperature is 400 degree F, the the outside surface becomes quite hot. It could become a safety issue.
2. When the oven door is opened, the light is not automatically on. It would be more user friendly if the light automatically turns on when door open and off when door close.

This stove/range was designed by a group of people who rarely or never cook complete meals at home. It is the WORST design and has HUGE misses in important details and features that should be standard in a respectable, basic stove/range.
1. You can't even lift the top up, like most ranges, to clean crumbs and spills that go off the edge of your counter and down the side of your stove, and ooze onto the horizontal area between the stove top and the oven top. I lifted mine up to clean it and discovered that the stove top is NOT even anchored to the frame of the range. The stove top rest on a pivot point, via a curved hook, and when you lift the stove top, it becomes detached from the range and you can't get it hooked back on, without detaching the control panel, first. Completely idiotic design. It's clearly not designed for you to EVERY lift the stove top up to be cleaned - EVER.
2. Because the idiots who designed this range clearly don't know their way around a kitchen, they decided to make the gas tubing that goes from the control dial to the burner out of aluminum tubing. Anyone who has a brain cell knows that aluminum can flex about 3 times before it breaks, so while I was trying to lift up the stove top to hook it back onto the back wall of the range, the aluminum tubing broke, causing gas to leak when I tried to turn the burners back on and use it. Brilliant engineering.
3. The entire range gets RIDICULOUSLY hot to the touch when using the oven. Very poorly insulated to prevent burns when using the stove top. Not good when you have little kids in your house or safe for anyone in general who might brush against the oven door or stove top.
4. The broiler is a complete joke. Not only did the range NOT even come with a rack for the broiler (thankfully I read a review, before I bought mine, where a consumer pointed that out - and that Amana wanted you to buy a rack for the broiler at a $30 price tag), the broiler doesn't even function like a broiler should. It cycles on and off like the oven!!! Broilers are supposed to have a separate heating element and control. They're supposed to turn on when you turn them on and stay on until you turn them off - just like a broiler at a restaurant. They aren't supposed to cycle on and off due to the programmed target temperature of the oven. So. Completely. Stupid.
5. The broiler drawer is litterally on the floor. You have to get down on your hands and knees to slide your broiler pan in and out of the broiler so that you don't burn yourself, by accidentally lifting up before you pull it out far enough to clear the front of the range.
6. The gas doesn't come out of the burners evenly. My back, left burner has a high section at the back, outer corner, so food gets burned onto the side of my pan when I use that burner and the pan gets hotter in that section of the burner, so I have to rotate the food or try to avoid that region of the pot/pan when I am cooking pieces of things - burgers, pancakes, etc.

My pots slit on the burners. I called Home Depot before my 30 days to change it for a different model and they said no

I just recently had my kitchen renewed with new cabinets diswasher and stove. It took 10 days before the stove was installed and when I had a chance to use the stove I found out the burners wouldn't lower and the my pots slid on top of the burners. Home Depot would not let me trade it for a better model and I can't get service for it for another week.

I really love it. The only suggestion I have is the grates are very slippery and the pans slide very easy. You really have to hold the pan if you are stirring, flipping eggs etc. It is a very nice looking stove. The oven door window is large. Great for eyeing your Christmas Cookies™º.

I am not happy with this purchase at all. I suppose it is my fault but I guess I expected more from it at $749.00! The stove top is very hard to clean and keep smear free after use. For that much I also expected it to be self-cleaning but it's not. Again my fault for not checking. The burners are not able to be adjusted to a lower flame to allow food to be kept warm without burning or boiling over. The actual price I paid was $549.00 on sale and now I know why.

Let me start off by saying the oven portion of this stove is the greatest! Holds a great temperature & steady. The stove portion could use some improvements such as better grates for the burners the one piece grate seems like it would work, it just doesn't for us. the flames can get a little high & start coming over the bottom side of smaller pots & pans. Seems to heat fine tho once adjusted down. fingerprints really stick to the surface & it is easily dirtied. I don't have alot of regrets about buying it other than maybe it wasn't worth the full price i paid for it, even tho it was in the top 10 cheapest available at home depot. I can live with it tho, alteast for now anyways.

I purchased the range in September. It was missing an oven rack. Home Depot left me hanging on this issue. I had to call Amana directly. The cooktop grates will not let any pan or pot sit flush. Amana should have fixed the uneven burner grates by now. I found the easy touch controls as advertised, easy. The burners work fine. It heats a pot of water in 1/3 of the time of my old range. I also liked the smaller burner for simmering.

This range was provided by my landlord. It's nice, BUT: Neither the description nor the instructions mentioned that the oven shuts off automatically after approximately 12 hours, nor was there any information on how to disable the feature. This severely limits the oven's usability for the Jewish Sabbath and Jewish holy days. Please include this information in your model descriptions. It would be even better to provide a Sabbath mode with clear instructions on to select or deselect the auto-shutoff feature.

i bought this stove to replace a wirlpool because it would not keep the right temp. and now this stove is doing the same thing. and i called in and told them about it and i was suppose to have a tect here in 7 days well guess what that was 2 weeks ago and still no tech. i feel like someone should show up with a whole new stove one with the oven already checked. i am not a happy camper.
