I wanted a simple gas stove for canning, Stove is not made for regulating a pressure canner. Low is more like medium & medium is very close to high. Defiantly needs a lower "simmer" flame capability!

The stove itself just cooks better. Is it hotter? It seems so though I haven't changed my cooking time. And I love the range. Low keeps food warm without burning. Previously I was always burning food. Other ranges just didn't have low enough options. No oven light or timer took some adjustment. I bought a magnetic timer I attached to stove top. Cooking capabilities more than make up for lack of fancy features.

I bought this in 2015 and the oven quit working in 2022, fall.
The igniter glows nicely but wont ignite the oven. Im thinking its a gas valve area problem but not sure.

i like that there are no "programming" buttons. Simply turn it on. The only thing I don't like are the racks over the burners. Mine do not sit flush with the stove and rattle every time someone walks by it.

I had my gas range delivered on March 1st. The grates on this model are the worst that I™™ve ever seen! You have to make sure you have 2 hands on the pan you are cooking in. The grates sit way too high and are so slippery that if you go to turn over a steak or whatever you are cooking you have to use your other hand to hold the pan so it doesn™™t fly off onto the floor!! I wish I never would™™ve purchased this model!! Another thing, but not the manufacturer™™s problem the store where I bought this from converted it to propane and it was not adjusted properly and also didn™™t get the door back on so the night it was delivered and I was going to use it, the door fell off, this caused the broiler door to be damaged. I see by other reviews that other people have issues that the grates as well. Maybe if they sat lower and had a different type of material they would be better. I know that my grates are also already coming apart. The black is starting to come off. This range is very cheaply made.

I've had this stove for almost 6 months now and it's a good stove with basic features. And when I say basic, I do mean basic. No oven light. No glass oven door. No timer. No clock even. I was desperate when I purchased this stove and on a super tight budget. I wasn't sure how I would like missing all the things all my other stoves have had. Turns out, I don't miss any of those features except the oven light for proofing bread. I like that the grates on top are thick and sturdy. Overall a good stove for the money.

The stove/oven are just fine, just what I wanted. However, the burner grates are less than ideal. Neither is flat, i.e. high in the center both fore & aft and LH to RH, also the spacing between the tines is wider than I like at the outer edges. I use small pots or skillets which have handles that if not placed just right will tip/tilt because of non-support between the tines. Also, the tines are porcelain coated and therefore a little slick, so if bumped, skillets will slide. I have had one close call be fore I learned. Cast-iron grates would be much better.

I bought this last nov. the oven part hasn™™t worked since and menards where I bought it would switch it out and said I had to deal with you . No awnser always on hood . I hope one day something will be done about this . First time I ever bought a brand new one and this was my luck . Hope everyone else has had a better experiences:

I bought this in November , I have yet to use the oven . I have called multiple times and sat on hold and yet to even speak to someone . So after attempting over and over after almost a year I have about have up . It was brand new . Sad story I hope someone reaches out to me finally and gets the oven part to actually work . You can tell it hasn™™t been used when you look inside it .

I've had this range for almost a year now & I love it! It is a simple & basic range (no fancy buttons, options, screens, ect) BUT it is lovely and easy to navigate. Sleek design and easy to keep clean. Spacious oven & burners. Literally the only thing I would have preferred is an oven window on the door BUT other than that, it gets the job done every time!

It does the job. I'm not fond of the electronic ignition. The oven is great.
When i called customer service just to ask a question about switching from natural gas to propane, they refused to answer my question because I had not registered the appliance. I was trying to get it hooked up. Then I would register it.

I bought this stove on 3/19/22. it was delivered on 3/22/22.Upon receiving this i went to use the oven and i have heat coming out of one side of the oven door. My pots rock on the back burners. So i had a repair guy come to fix these problems . he ordered parts and I'm still waiting for the stove to get fixed. Piece of junk,very poorly made.

Changed over from propane to natural gas in my rental cabin. Picked this stove up because of the price. I'm glad I did! This stove is a work horse and cooks evenly in the oven. The only think I wish it had was a window for the oven but can't complain other than that! Basic design, not a lot of gadgets to learn. Would have given a 5* for features if it had a window...I would buy it again!

The range itself is perfect everything looks and operates correctly, except...
The stovetop grates are the worst I've ever seen. No pan sits on the grates without wobbling. It is a poor design and poor quality control. Any flat surface sitting on a grate only sits on the three highest points. And these grates are all over the place.
I called and complained and they sent me new grates: they're as bad as the original.

If I could have gotten away with NO stars I would have. Purchased this several months ago. The top of the stove is un-level, and the oven door does not close right and stays open until you have to forcibly adjust and force the door down to close. Contacted the store and they referred me to the manufacturer who has "not" responded. Just waiting for oven door to fall off. Never buy Amana or Whirlpool again.

This is definitely a no. This range is a safety hazard the outside of the range heats up where it is hot to the touch so much so that I've had numerous Burns just touching the outside of the stove. The heat from the oven had discolored the stove within days of using it. For your safety please reconsider your purchase.

Purchased this range and after delivery noticed oven door does not shut securely and heat escapes out the left side. Called Menards and they referred us to Whirlpool. Contacted Whirlpool and have not heard back from them for about a month now. We do not expect to hear from them as this is the way companies do business now! As long as you guys get your money that is all you care about. Very dissapointed with the whole thing. Last product I will ever buy from you people. I would have given it no stars if I were allowed to do so, as you don't even deserve one star. Thanks for nothing.

I bought my stove a month ago. I chose this model because the stovetop is easy to clean. The grill is lightweight and perfect for someone who has arthritis. My previous stove had heavy cast iron grills and I had such a hard time picking them up to clean the stove top. I love my new stove. It has made my kitchen life so much easier.

This range was bought maybe about 2-3 months ago love the way that it Cooks the heating temperature is precise as I have a thermometer on the inside. The only thing that I really can say that I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a timer on the outside for a cooking foods other than that it does what it's supposed to do for the price that I paid for it I think all in all it is a goodbye
