it was every thing I expected and it has taken me awhile to get use to it. the oven door opens so easily i thought I was going to pull it off. the controls are a little different but it cooks great I don't burn the fried eggs anymore. the price was great it was almost cheaper than repairing old stove.

I bought this model because it is a simple, effective stove. It was also the same size as the one this replaced. One knob for oven/broiler, and one knob for each burner. Two racks for the oven. Simple, yet, effective little stove, exactly what we needed/wanted.

I like function over looks, the vintage look is great though, easy to use, less things to breakdown. I don't need a window to look at my pans I store in the oven, I don't need a clock, I have plenty of clocks to reset each time the time changes, I sure don't need a breakdown of technical things. Tricknology is what I call it. The 30 inch Amana is just great.

I purchased this new range within the last month & am quite pleased with my choice. However, my one comment would be that the top of the range should be more flat in design rather than curved as it is not made to allow my salt & paper shakers to sit there where they are conveniently within reach when cooking on the stove top. It would also be slightly better if it had glass in the oven door, though this was not a priority to me. Neither was the fact that it does not have a timer built in.

I bought this Amana range in September and although it hasn't taken the test of baking bushels of squash and dozens of cookies yet, I am very pleased with it. I wasn't interested in a model with all the bells and whistles so this appliance really fits the bill for me.

This range came with my house. It is brand new but definitely the low end most affordable model. It looks good and the cook top works fine. My biggest complaints are that it is missin what I would consider basic features (i.e. Window in the oven door, timer, etc) and the oven takes FOREVER to heat up and even longer to cook. I have to almost double all of my cook times even after preheating. The product is definitely you get what you pay for

We have gotten other brand names with all the Extras self cleaning clock start stop and timers,and all we had where problems,a surge would mess up Electronic oven control,fault codes would make the stove useless,the beeping would take time to reboot,5 man hours a month.but since we started with your product its been great no problems,and since we a Apartment complex that deals with older folks your product is what they are use to thanks for simple good stove

We bought this stove due to the simplicity of the controls. The one it replaced had a computerized control panel that cost as much as a stove to replace, so we went with this model instead. Since Amana is an American company, this was another major factor in our decision. We expect much longer life from this stove due to all the controls being knobs. The accuracy of the controls is really excellent. When you set them, you know they are right-on. Overall, this is an excellent, accurately controlled, easy-to-use piece of kitchen equipment that should give many years of satisfactory service.

The drawer doesn't seem to fit properly, does not slide with ease and shows a large gap between the oven door and the top of the drawer. Seems like a rail or runner was left out when manufactured.

I bought this simple stove to replace a much more expensive one that had all of the electronic features that died after 10 years. I love this new, what I call "old school" range. It works great, the burners and the oven heat faster than the more expensive one. I am happy to not have the glass window in the door that eventually gets so dirty inside the glass you can't see through it anyway! I like the coil burners better than the glass top. It is much easier to keep clean and I like the burner layout much better. I do miss having a timer but have adapted easily to using an "old school" timer or the timer on my microwave. I am very happy!

My old range, (not an Amana) computer stuff went out and it was going to cost me around $350 to replace it. Just a little more and I eliminated the problem with the purchase of this new range. Love it.

So this is a very inexpensive range . You do get what you pay for so do not expect a top notch stove . Oven temps vary a bit and are at least 75 degrees off. Burners work fine for small amp burners . No temp settings on burners just low , med .... so you will have to take a temp at different settings if you want accuracy . Oven vents out of back burner so if you are using the oven you can not use the back left burner as it will cause your oven temps to be way off. All in all it is good for the price . If you have a few hundred more you can get a better one but this works for a budget stove .
