love it
1/20/2017
it was every thing I expected and it has taken me awhile to get use to it. the oven door opens so easily i thought I was going to pull it off. the controls are a little different but it cooks great I don't burn the fried eggs anymore. the price was great it was almost cheaper than repairing old stove.

They definitely don't make them like they used to
5/20/2016
This range was a new appliance in the house we recently purchased. It works, but has many annoying things about it. From the top down:
The top panel is curved, so anything you put up there slides off.
No features whatsoever, no clock, timer, not even a window into the oven.
The cooktop is not remotely level, and the feet aren't adjustable enough to get it level. The oil in the pan will run to the side.
The oven works, but is off by about 25 degrees.
No window means you have to open the door to see if your cookies are done, letting heat escape every time.
The handle on the oven sticks out, and I am always hitting it with my hip. It is not attached very sturdily, and I suspect it will break off eventually.
The storage drawer on the bottom constantly comes off the tracks, because it only has guides in the front. Nothing keeps the back of the drawer in place when it is moving. It is highly annoying, and all around poorly designed.
On the positive side, the cooktop does lift up easily for cleaning.
Basically, it is a range made as cheaply as possible. It works, but that is all.
In our previous kitchen, the range was a GE from the 1940's and worked beautifully. I miss it. This one won't last 5 years, let alone 75.

Nice stove
5/20/2016
I bought this model because it is a simple, effective stove. It was also the same size as the one this replaced. One knob for oven/broiler, and one knob for each burner. Two racks for the oven. Simple, yet, effective little stove, exactly what we needed/wanted.

Vintage looking, Simply beautiful
2/4/2016
I like function over looks, the vintage look is great though, easy to use, less things to breakdown. I don't need a window to look at my pans I store in the oven, I don't need a clock, I have plenty of clocks to reset each time the time changes, I sure don't need a breakdown of technical things. Tricknology is what I call it. The 30 inch Amana is just great.

My new Range -
12/2/2015
I purchased this new range within the last month & am quite pleased with my choice. However, my one comment would be that the top of the range should be more flat in design rather than curved as it is not made to allow my salt & paper shakers to sit there where they are conveniently within reach when cooking on the stove top.
It would also be slightly better if it had glass in the oven door, though this was not a priority to me. Neither was the fact that it does not have a timer built in.

Amana ranges are the only ranges for me!
11/18/2015
This is not the first Amana range I have prurchased and it will not be my last. I rely on Amana ranges to provide ease of use for my elderly and disabled residents. With a winning combination of being cost efficient for my business and a great quality for my residents, I can't go wrong choosing Amana. Thank you for all you do!

We have gotten other brand names with all the Extras self cleaning clock start stop and timers, and all we had where problems,a surge would mess up Electronic oven control, fault codes would make the stove useless, the beeping would take time to reboot,5 man hours a month.but since we started with your product its been great no problems, and since we a Apartment complex that deals with older folks your product is what they are use to thanks for simple good stove

This range came with my house. It is brand new but definitely the low end most affordable model. It looks good and the cook top works fine. My biggest complaints are that it is missin what I would consider basic features (i.e. Window in the oven door, timer, etc) and the oven takes FOREVER to heat up and even longer to cook. I have to almost double all of my cook times even after preheating. The product is definitely you get what you pay for

Awesomeness at an affordable price
11/3/2015
I bought this Amana range in September and although it hasn't taken the test of baking bushels of squash and dozens of cookies yet, I am very pleased with it. I wasn't interested in a model with all the bells and whistles so this appliance really fits the bill for me.

Great stove

We bought this stove due to the simplicity of the controls. The one it replaced had a computerized control panel that cost as much as a stove to replace, so we went with this model instead. Since Amana is an American company, this was another major factor in our decision. We expect much longer life from this stove due to all the controls being knobs. The accuracy of the controls is really excellent. When you set them, you know they are right-on. Overall, this is an excellent, accurately controlled, easy-to-use piece of kitchen equipment that should give many years of satisfactory service.
